Boss Blues.
My attempt at a little song based (as in changed some lines) on the Kill Bill title song by Nancy Sinatra.
My boss shot me down.
I was 3 and he was 11.
We worked on stuff which made me sick.
He worked late and my work, a bore.
He would always win the fight.
Bang Bang, He shot me down.
Bang Bang. I got stuck alone.
Bang Bang, those awful meetings.
Bang Bang, my braindead boss shot me down.
People came and changed the time.
When I grew old, I thought he'd help.
He always smiles and says.
"Remember, the plans we have for you ?".
Bang Bang, I shot you down
Bang Bang, you stay for now.
Bang Bang, the work you do.
Bang Bang, I used to talk you down.
People worked, and people cried
Just for him, I was special.
Now he's still there, I don't know why
And till this day, sometimes I swear
I couldn't even utter a word.
His carrots did let me speak.
Bang Bang, He shot me down.
Bang Bang. I got stuck alone.
Bang Bang, those awful meetings.
Bang Bang, my braindead boss shot me down.
BTW, I dont know if it is illegal to make stuff like the one above (is it a (c) infringement?).. If you think so let me know.
